If you have the “Redirect to the cart page after successful addition” setting active when you add a product to the cart you should be taken to the cart page.

When you're on that page you'll probably notice a little button that say's “Continue Shopping”. Now by default this button takes you back to the product you were on. You can, of course, change this to any destination you want with a filter.

I just wrapped up my first Startup Weekend. I've wanted to go to one of these events for a couple years now and I never made it a priority. I finally decided it was something I needed to do so I signed up in January as a reward for finishing the Blogging for Benjamin Competition. I just got back from the first day of my very first Startup Weekend. If you haven't heard of Startup Weekend before it's an event where developers, designers, and business people get together and launch a startup in 54 hours! So far it's been a pretty crazy experience. I'll go more in depth about the intricacies of the weekend later but I do have one tidbit for any future attendee.

I got an email today from a local developer who was asking me some questions about the recent WooCommerce 2.1 update. When she updated she got an error related to her shipping methods. With a quick search she was able to discover our recently created WooCommerce 2.1 Issues page which mentions a fix for that error:
…You can delete that specific file from your theme until this issue has been patched by your theme developer for a temporary fix.
The problem is that in this case she's the developer. She created a custom theme for her client and she has to figure out exactly which template has changed and how to change it back. The question is how? What is a more permanent fix?

One of my favorite heroes in this industry is 37signals. They're the guys who make Basecamp, Highrise, Campfire, and Know Your Company; they write incredible books like REWORK, and REMOTE; and the CEO even has a TED Talk. I've talked about them before a few times here because they're so awesome and so inspring. They take away all of the bureaucracy & red tape and only do things that actually help people work.

While reading Sarah Pressler's post about WordCamps for Women I get the impression that some people don't like being offended and mean to create environments where it's impossible to be offended.
